What makes us humans think we stand above other living beings?
… because we believe that, at some point in evolution, we supposedly took the ‘right’ turn?

It seems humanity is currently destroying itself. How can a species that can't even care for itself protect other creatures?

Due to the suffering and turmoil in the world, the media focus is currently on many things – but not on the topic of animal welfare .

With P.F.K, we want to make at least a small contribution to alleviating the suffering of animals

Animal shelters in Germany are overcrowded and often operate at their limit.

Cats that are sick or don't conform to conventional beauty standards have particularly poor chances of being rehomed. They lead a bleak existence in cramped conditions – often without the attention, love, or outdoor access they desperately need.

We want to change that.

Our association aims to provide a safe and permanent home for cats that are difficult or impossible to rehome.

We are committed to their well-being by:

  • Ensure species-appropriate and loving treatment
  • to pay for their medical care
  • to address their individual needs in order to enable them to live as stress-free and dignified a life as possible.

Special attention is paid to cats that cannot be placed in a conventional home due to their health condition or other limitations .

Our association creates a protected environment for them, where they can live without suffering and hardship.
